Take everything about the case seriously...the police and child protection does...and in most all cases it is solely based on the word of a child or ex. Trust me I know! My fiancee' is currently going through this.

His 14yr old daughter is angry at him for staying with me after she and I had a falling out. She has told the police he molested her for 7 or 8 years past and that it had ended only went he started dating me! They believed her. We had many witnesses talk to the police and dispute what she claimed based on things she has been caught doing and saying and they still believed her.

He is currently awaiting trial.

This is not a joke....take this seriously and look on the internet for all the information on falsely accussed of child abuse you can....I did and it is both informing and scary to learn that 60% of all child abuse cases are falsely reported, but it is one of the crimes that carries the highest conviction rate.
